I-An Chen

I-An Chen is a Principle Patent Engineer of the TOPTEAM International Patent & Trademark Office.. She works with businesses and individuals in Taiwan to effectively protect inventions across a wide range of technology fields.  Ms. Chen advises on patent services for a diverse range of clients including companies, SMEs, start-ups and universities in Taiwan.

Ms. Chen graduated from National Chung-Cheng University in 1999 with a master’s degree in Physics.  Prior to joining TOPTEAM, Ms. Chen worked as an R&D engineer in the field of semiconductor devices (memory, mixed-mode and high-voltage devices, etc.) for United Microelectronics Corporation.

Ms. Chen joined TOPTEAM in 2005. Initially, she worked as a patent engineer in the Patent Dept. for eleven years.  Ms. Chen has extensive knowledge and experience in drafting and prosecution of patent application in the technology semiconductor, display technology and material science fields.
