Joe Chao

Joe Chao started his practice at TOPTEAM in October 2019. He handles patent application and prosecution cases in Taiwan, China, Europe, the United States, etc. and specializes in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, image processing, natural language processing, software, and information engineering.

Before joining TOPTEAM, Mr. Chao once worked as a data analyst and product manager in the software industry. He is also the inventor of a patented technology (Patent TWI522955B). Thus, he has a relatively in-depth understanding of research and development practices and intellectual property protection needs in the software industry. Clients have described him as being "responsible and empathetic in handling patent cases" and as being "professional, patient and enthusiastic in answering clients' questions."

In his spare time, Mr. Chao is an amateur pianist who enjoys playing classical music.
