Jessica Chen

Jessica (Tsai-Chi) Chen is one of the managing members of the Executive Committee of TOPTEAM and is the team leader of the Chemistry/Material Group of the Patent Department. Her practice covers domestic and international intellectual property matters, specializing in the semiconductor, display, chemical and material science fields.
 
Ms. Chen has vast experience in working with clients to prepare patent applications. She has handled a multitude of Taiwanese and international intellectual property prosecution matters. Ms. Chen prosecutes patent applications, including corresponding with clients and preparing replies to correspondence, both domestically and internationally. She also advises on patentability, non-infringement, invalidity opinion letters, and patent searches.

She is a member of Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), and the  Licensing Executives Society Chinese Taipei (LESCT). Her experience includes being a Deputy Secretary General of Taiwan Patent Attorneys Association (TWPAA), a member of patent committee, Japanese affairs committee and international affairs committee of TWPAA.
 
Prior to joining TOPTEAM, she was a researcher at China Chemical & Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (CCPC).
 
In her spare time, Ms. Chen enjoys traveling, yoga, and meditation.
